Pawpa is the definition of being the little sibling. Spoiled by mom and always begging for attention. He’s 1 year old and the chunky. He loves car rides and eating the sand at the beach. He’s always smiling at us and he’s so perfect. He loves the bones at Kahoots and shares them with his birth parents. He’s our special boy with one white paw.
Isaac is a 10 year old Japanese Chin who I adopted 7 years ago. He used to be a show dog around the U.S with the previous owners, has a great personality and is extremely lovable. Isaac is patient and very smart. He loves his morning breakfast which I feed him chicken & rice mixed in with his Salmon and Pea Kibble. And with that being said thank you guys for this opportunity. 🙏 🐶☺️
Sweetie's a very "sweet" pup with a hilarious side to her. She will bark and chase the rain and run outside when there's thunder. She has an underbite which makes her chomp at her treats. Plays ball by going after it, then at halfway gets distracted by her own feet and forgets about the ball and comes back! She's sporting a vintage palm cover for those rainy day rain drop excursions.
My dog, Rocket, is almost 3 years old! He loves to run around outside but also to take naps in the sun. He hates the mailman and sometimes they don’t deliver mail because of his barking. Rocket loves my families friends because he thinks they come over for him and everyone gives him all the treats. This picture is him dressed as Marshall from paw patrol
Judy is 8-years- old as of October 1st but she has the energy of a 3 year old. She is a former service dog in training but she has changed careers and is now a certified search and rescue dog who helps the local police departments find lost and missing people. In her spare time she participates in flyball tournaments, agility, surfing, and dock diving events.

Kona is a 10 yo mini golden doodle. She rescued me in dark times and I’ve been very happy since she came into my life. She is goofy and smart and loves people. She recently passed the canine good citizen course and is a AKC certified therapy dog and we will soon be visiting hospitals, senior homes, etc.
Maverick or as we like to call him "The Wonder Pup" has been the center of our family for the past 11 years. He has been the best dog anyone could ever ask for:) Even though he is getting older, he still brings us so much joy everyday! He doesn't mind dressing up for holidays...our favorite is his lion costume. It would be so amazing if our sweet boy won :)
Frankie is a spit fire 6 lb Papillon! She loves to chase balls and her feline sister! She has small dog's complex and thinks she is a 50 lb pit bull! Frankie flunked out of puppy obedience school but has taken up lizard chasing since. She does pilates and her favorite song is "I'm Every Woman" by Chaka Khan.
Meet Daisy, my spunky dapple mini Dachshund who is just 5 months old and bursting with personality! Her playful curiosity keeps our home lively as she explores every corner, turning everyday moments into adventures. With her striking dapple coat, she’s not only adorable but also FULL of sass! This little lady is also the queen of cuddles, curling up in my fiancé and I’s laps and showering us with affection and kisses daily. In every bark and cuddle, she reminds us to embrace life’s little joys, making her an irreplaceable part of our little family.

In the spirit of outdoor living, Oso is hoping his cow costume will give him a chance to roam the farm. He loves the fresh air and being outside is his happy place. Of course he never gives up the chance to snuggle on the bed. Oso is the perfect mix of spunk and sweetness. We love our boy. Happy Halloween!
Wallaby was adopted from HWAC back in March of 2023. He is an energetic and happy boy who loves the beach and playing with any dog he meets. This year he took on agility classes and learned to surf for the very first time. He is the perfect adventure buddy! For Halloween wallaby is a Lion to symbolize his strength, courage, and bravery.
Annabelle is a sweet 12-13 year old Pitbull-Dalmatian mix, who came into my life when she was 5-6. I adopted her from someone that was planning to take her to a shelter. Though her walks have gotten shorter with age, she still enjoys them as much as ever. One of her favorite things is to nibble and gently suck on stuffed animals, but she never destroys them—just loves them like a soft, comforting companion. She LOVES her human family and cuddling in my bed (when I am not there).
The look on her face says it all... but in case it doesn't.... She's a tortie with "tortitude". She is a total "lovey" cat who barely gives you a chance to sit down before she jumps on your lap. BUT... her nickname is "creeper" because she loves to stalk us, she stands behind doors, watching us with only 1/2 her face showing. She rushes at us and pounces last minute (no nails), then just lays on us and falls asleep. She's different than any other cat I've had and I absolutely love her! She keeps us on our toes.
Teddy’s a Pomeranian, so he’s got that fluffy, fox-like look that just adds to his charm. His energy is always on point—whether he’s bouncing around or sitting in your lap, he’s always a bundle of joy. And let’s be real, with that adorable face and playful attitude, it’s hard not to be charmed by him!
Teddyberto, the proud Pomeranian from Mérida, made his big move to San Diego like a true adventurer. He went from warm Yucatán streets to SoCal beaches, strutting around with his fluffy tail waving like a flag. The first day he hit the dog park, he was probably thinking, “Where are my tacos al pastor, and what’s this about avocado on everything?”
But Teddyberto, being the adaptable little guy he is, quickly embraced the laid-back San Diego lifestyle. Now, he’s got his paws in the sand, enjoying sunny siestas and making sure everyone knows he’s the coolest Mexican immigrant dog in town!
Dooby is our 5 year old Grandpuppy. He was born in Tijuana and legally immigrated to the U.S. to be adopted by us when he was 10 weeks old. 🙂Dooby is a quiet, well behaved boy who loves to hike, fish, play with (destroy) toys, play with doggie friends and sleep with his family under the covers.
He is a little afraid of all the lights in Soapy Joe's Carwash, but he loves to go to Kahoots in Fallbrook to visit his friends that work there!
Mimi and Amber are two inseparable sisters who couldn’t be more different yet perfectly complement each other. Mimi, a tiny 4-year-old rescued chihuahua, might be small, but she has a big personality, especially when she’s strutting around in her stylish outfits. Amber, a 4-year-old Australian shepherd, is her playful and energetic counterpart, always ready to chase a ball for hours without tiring. Together, they’re the perfect duo, especially when they hop into the car for their favorite adventures, whether it’s cruising to the beach or just enjoying a breezy car ride.
Their shared obsession? Galletas! You can’t say “cookie” around them without them perking up, their little tails wagging in sync. Amber’s a bit of a smarty-paws, too; she can tell the difference between her left and right paw, which she proudly shows off during playtime. While Amber’s dashing around playing ball, Mimi’s perfectly content in the spotlight, modeling her latest outfit like the true fashionista she is. These two may be different in many ways, but their bond is unbreakable, and their adorable antics will melt your heart.
These sisters were born right before the start of the COVID shutdown in 2020. They are best friends and have been inseparable since birth, especially after an accident caused Poppy to lose an eye when she was 5 weeks old. They love to be spoiled and enjoy lounging near the pool and getting treats as much as possible.
my golden retriever Sierra was the best dog ever, and im not just saying that because she was a golden or our dog, but she spent her life being the best dog ever and loving us til the very end. She's no longer with us as she went to heaven, but I loved her and she was such a kind and loving dog. She loved us so much and we loved her very much. I miss her.
will do anything for food, deserves all the treats in the world because she is a very good girl at home and on the go, she tags along for store trips beach trips and loves to have zoomies at the park and play with her bestie who’s a shih tzu, but will settle down and relax at home if it’s to hot outside, gets her monthly groomings, spoiled with toys love and attention, gets a bit shy with lots of new attention but eases into every never task like a good girl. nickname goose because she’s a silly goose sometimes with a spicy attitude.
Hairyet is an approximately 3 year old Great Pyrenees mix! She was abandoned in the streets on a hot day, with burned feet and matted fur. She was taken to the city shelter, and we transferred her to our rescue. She was very skinny, scared, had really bad worms, was anemic, and suffered from pancreatitis. She is on the mend and is the sweetest, most loyal girl, and ready for adoption! Here she is in her Beetlejuice costume.

Harpo is truly the best cat in the universe. She may be the laziest cat in the whole world but her purrs are my favorite soundtrack which can transform even the dullest moments into pure joy💛 When she’s curled up next to me, it’s as if the world melts away, leaving just us two friends navigating life’s ups and downs together. She truly is the peanut butter to my jelly.

Amigo or as we call him Migo for short Is a rescued dog. He’s very smart, but he can still act very afraid. He wouldn’t ever think of leaving the yard. We do not need a fence to keep him here. He’s afraid of small places and the dark. He loves to play and he is really my daughter Tracy’s dog. He loves her so much and when she’s around, no one else seems to matter. Tracy‘s husband is the only one he barks at regularly when he doesn’t pay him enough attention. We all laugh at this. When the kids go on vacation, I watch him. He’s the easiest dog ever to take care of. He never causes me a bit of trouble. I am very glad that we were able to give him a home. It makes me sad to think that people can be mean to animals, they are such great companions and they love us so much. I can always depend on him if anybody strange is around. He is a great watchdog. I always feel safe in the house when he’s here. He’s here in his “Santa Paws” costume.
Meet Lucifer, better known as Lucy! This 10-year-old English bulldog is not just lovable but full of personality. With her unique “moo-deng” shape—a bulldog with the stocky charm of a little cow—she’s a true character. Lucy adores toys, treats, and most of all, getting into trouble. Whether it’s sneaking snacks or grabbing her favorite plush, she’s always on the move. One of her favorite outings is accompanying me to Soapy Joe’s car washes, where she enjoys watching all the action. Mischievous yet sweet, Lucy brings joy wherever she goes—especially when she’s not busy causing chaos!
Dave is a 15-year-old mixed-breed terrier. He has been the most mellow fellow. He often looks confused and still happy whenever everyone wakes up in the morning. He loves going around to greet people and never mean to anyone. He likes hanging out with his friends. He likes his mermaid toy and would carry her around even though the mermaid toy is bigger than him.
Benny randomly showed up to my door with a broken leg, and we took him in. From that day forward he became my other half, partner in crime, and my emotional support partner. He’s the sweetest dog ever and loves to follow me everywhere I go. He also loved pup cups from Starbucks, chicken nuggets, and mozzarella cheese. He’s my whole world and more.
Once upon a time, in a sunny neighborhood of La Mesa, lived Pepper the Pirate dog, a feisty black chihuahua dressed in a pink pirate costume.
One day, she decided to embark on an adventure in her backyard, which she claimed as her "treasure island..”
As Pepper strutted around, she spotted her neighbor's cat, Mr.
Whiskers, lounging lazily. With a mischievous bark, she challenged him to a treasure hunt. Mr. Whiskers, unimpressed, simply yawned.
Undeterred, Pepper began digging in the garden, unearthing old toys! Suddenly, she stumbled upon a half-buried rubber chicken! With a triumphant bark, she declared it her
"greatest treasure." Pepper pranced around with her prize, while Mr.
Whiskers watched in disbelief. The sight of a tiny pirate dog proudly carrying a rubber chicken was so funny that even Mr. Whiskers couldn't help but chuckle.
From that day on, Pepper became the neighborhood's beloved pirate, known for her hilarious antics and her legendary rubber chicken treasure!
Miss Latuna Frittata, a resilient canine distemper survivor, joined our family from a local shelter. She’s known for her love of Halloween and her long tongue that always hangs out, bringing smiles to everyone she meets. In past years, she’s dressed as a pumpkin and "the babe" from Labyrinth. This year, she's a spooky spider, ready to greet trick-or-treaters at the 5th Avenue Cemetery. With her wagging tail and playful costumes, Latuna never fails to spread joy!
