Celebrating Over 20 Years
of Sustainable Wash Practices

Soapy Joe’s Day celebrates and raises awareness for water conservation and the importance of being eco-friendly. As a leader of sustainable wash practices, we know water is one of San Diego’s most valuable resources and we are committed to conserving it.

This year Soapy Joe’s is debuting the world’s largest air freshener at our Imperial Beach location to symbolize our commitment to being eco-friendly. The largest air freshener stands at 4 feet tall and 4 feet wide, and is made with proprietary biodegradable material. In addition to this, Soapy Joe’s is providing Pura Vida bracelets to members, honoring their continued support of our sustainable practices*.

Join us on Soapy Joe’s Day April 19 and experience our innovative wash technology first hand! Free car washes will be provided at all 10 Soapy Joe’s Car Wash locations and members can enjoy free upgrades to experience our premium Magic Potion Wash. Visitors can also redeem 20% off all Castrol oil change and auto services.

*A limited number of Pura Vida bracelets will be provided while supplies last. Members are not guaranteed a bracelet.

Beach Clean Up with Surfrider Foundation & WILDCOAST

This year Soapy Joe’s partnered with socially conscious nonprofits Surfrider Foundation and WILDCOAST to host a beach clean-up on April 15 from 2-4 p.m. at Imperial Beach.

The Surfrider Foundation is a non-profit grassroots organization dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of our world’s ocean, waves and beaches through a powerful network. It's five areas of focus are: clean water, plastic pollution, coastal preservation, ocean protection and beach access. Surfrider Foundation San Diego is one of the largest and most active chapters and is dedicated to protecting San Diego’s 72 miles of coastline.

WILDCOAST conserves coastal and marine ecosystems and wildlife. Set out to protect some of the most beautiful and biologically significant coastal areas in the Californias and Latin America, the organization's groundbreaking conservation projects and innovative campaigns have been recognized internationally.

Over 75 volunteers came to help and the top volunteer collected over 25 pounds of debris! Together we made a difference in our local community and built awareness for clean water initiatives. Check out the highlights below!
