Soapy Joe’s car wash will participate in the 18th annual Cruise for the Cause event on August 30, supporting the Emilio Nares Foundation, a local non-profit organization that provides free transportation services to help children battling cancer and their families. Cruise for the Cause showcases classic cars and has revamped its traditional format to a festive parade style.
“The Emilio Nares Foundation does such great work. We are honored to partner with them and do our part to help ensure no child misses a cancer treatment due to lack of transportation,” said Anne Mauler, VP of Marketing of Soapy Joe’s.
The local, family-run company has committed $5,000 to Emilio Nares Foundation efforts. Additionally, Soapy Joe’s has provided free washes to all Cruise for the Cause parade participants.

Thanks to these incredible partnerships we can continue to give hope to families who are dealing with the unimaginable–navigating through their child’s cancer journey. This support means so much to the families that we serve,” said Karen Terra, President and CEO of the Emilio Nares Foundation.
“It is an honor to support our community and give back,” said Mauler. “We are excited to come together with Xavier the X-man and 92.5 and support the children that need it most.”
