The following terms and conditions (the “Terms”) govern the promotional offer by Soapy Joe’s Car Wash (“Soapy Joe’s,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) entitled “Buy 4 Washes, Get 2 Free” (the “Promotion”).

From time to time, Soapy Joe’s Car Wash may offer sweepstakes and/or contests on its official third-party social media page (Instagram). Each such giveaway or sweepstakes is referred to as a “Social Media Giveaway” or “Giveaway.” The Social Media Post setting forth the method of entry for each Social Media Giveaway is posted is referred to as a “Social Media Giveaway Post.” Please read these Official Rules before entering a Soapy Joe’s Car Wash Social Media Giveaway. You agree that, by submitting an entry to a Social Media Giveaway, you will be bound by these Official Rules and the rules on the Social Media Giveaway Post and you acknowledge that you satisfy all Social Media Giveaway eligibility requirements. Social Media Giveaways are created and sponsored by Soapy Joe’s Car Wash. ELIGIBILITY
All Social Media Giveaways are open to all legal residents of the continental US and DC, who are 18+ years of age. The following individuals are not eligible to enter or win Soapy Joe’s Car Wash Social Media Giveaways: current employees and any member of the immediate family (i.e., a parent, sibling, child or grandchild) or household of any of the foregoing individuals.
PROMOTION RULES & REQUIREMENTS

Each Social Media Giveaway begins and ends on the dates and times as specified on the Social Media Giveaway Post (the “Giveaway Entry Period”). Entries will only be accepted during the Giveaway Entry Period.
Each entrant shall enter the competition on Soapy Joe’s Car Wash Instagram by tagging another user in the comments of the specified post by @SoapyJoes and following this Instagram profile, as is designated in the Social Media Giveaway Post.
By participating, each person who participates (each a “Participant”) agrees to be fully and unconditionally bound by these Rules, and represents and warrants that he/she meets the eligibility requirements set forth herein.
By entering a Giveaway, you will not be eligible to receive any prizes awarded in any other Giveaway unless you enter each Giveaway separately.
In the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond The Promoter’s reasonable control, the promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition or these terms and conditions, either in whole or in part, with or without notice. PRIZES
Prize shall be as stated on Giveaway Social Media Post. Prize is non-negotiable, non-transferable and non-refundable. No cash alternative is available. Where a Prize becomes unavailable for any reason, the promoter reserves the right to substitute that prize for a prize of equal or higher value.
Soapy Joe’s Car Wash will award a prize to one or more individuals who enter the Social Media Giveaway as specified in the Social Media Giveaway Post. The start and end dates and times of the Social Media Giveaway, method of entry, prize(s) and winner selection method will be specified on the Social Media Giveaway Post.
(1) Winner will be chosen at random and notified by direct message on Instagram. Winner must claim Prize within a 24-hour period from receiving Winner notification by direct message; failure to respond in a 24-hour period results in forfeited winnings, and a new Winner will be chosen at random. The name, address, email address and phone number of the Winner must be provided to Soapy Joe’s Car Wash if requested and will be shared to enable fulfilment of the Prize. The Winner’s first name and last initial may be posted on the social media profiles of Soapy Joe’s Car Wash after the Winner has been selected.
Winner must retrieve Prize from Soapy Joe’s Car Wash, 11465 Woodside Ave, Santee, CA 92071, within designated time period as specified by Soapy Joe’s Car Wash direct message.
Soapy Joe’s Car Wash is offering charities, non-profits, schools, youth sport organizations an opportunity to schedule a fundraising event(s) at a Soapy Joe’s Car Wash Location. To qualify for the fundraiser, an organization must be able to receive tax-deductible donations, (i.e., your organization must be exempt from federal income tax). This typically includes public entities (e.g., public schools), religious organizations, and nonprofit entities covered under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
Fundraising event requests are not guaranteed unless the submitting organization (if accepted, “Organization”) receives a confirmation email from Soapy Joe’s Car Wash accepting the request. If a fundraising event is approved, the date and time approved (the “Event”) will be referenced in the approval email, and the following terms and conditions apply:
An Organization with an approved Event may direct any questions (leading up to the Event, or on Event Day) to [email protected].
Once approved, the Organization will be provided with one electronic version of the Event fundraising flyer (the “Flyer”) for copying and distribution by the Organization as described below. The Flyer artwork, excluding the Organization name and logo, is owned by Soapy Joe’s Car Wash or its affiliates and may be used by the Organization only as described in these terms and conditions.
The Organization will make copies of the Flyer at its own expense. All other advertising costs related to the Event incurred by the Organization are also the responsibility of the Organization.
The Organization may, also at its own expense, send Flyers to all supporters in the Organization’s database, post to Organization’s website, distribute to the Organization’s employees, friends, families and members of the community to promote the Event. By participating in the Event and using the Flyer, Organization warrants and represents that distributing the Flyers as described in the prior sentence is not in violation of any terms of use or Organization policies. Organization takes all responsibility for complying with any applicable laws (including without limitation online solicitation laws and the CAN-SPAM Act and/or CASL, as applicable) and Organization agrees to indemnify, defend and hold Soapy Joe’s Car Wash, its parent company, any affiliates and each of their respective directors, officers and employees harmless from and against any claims by any third parties related to any such contact or violation of any laws.
In connection with the Event, the Organization may use the name and logo of Soapy Joe’s Car Wash, as applicable, only to promote and otherwise factually describe the Event; provided, however, that the Organization may not issue a press release to local media promoting the Event, without Soapy Joe’s Car Wash’s prior written approval.
The Soapy Joe’s Car Wash location will donate to the Organization 40% of net sales for sales where a promotional codeword is entered at the time of purchase online. The promotional codeword is valid for a 3-day period that the organization shall choose. The promotional codeword will be available on the Flyer so they may purchase single washes, bundles, gift cards, and monthly and annual memberships online.
A Soapy Joe’s third-party vendor, Force 4 Good, will mail a check on behalf of Soapy Joe’s Car Wash to Organization for the total donation amount approximately 45 days following Event.
Disclaimers: All scheduled events are subject to cancellation by Soapy Joe’s Car Wash for the approved car wash location, at their discretion.
Soapy Joe’s Car Wash is not responsible for any technical issues related to tracking any Fundraisers.
On occasion, Soapy Joe’s may need to close the site temporarily due to mechanical issues. Soapy Joe’s is not responsible for any refunds or credits to Organization for such downtime.
