We have always loved everything about your city. You are quaint, charming, and historic, all while being just a stone’s throw from everything San Diego has to offer. From the mountains to the harbor, horses to homes and–most of all–the wonderful people, Chula Vista is a truly special place that deserves its very own Soapy Joe’s.
The First Eco-Friendly Car Wash in Chula Vista
You might already know us for being fun and friendly, with a serious side when it comes to the environment. Soapy Joe’s has been committed to sustainable car wash practices for more than 20 years. When you wash with us, you use about 80 percent less water than you would use at home in your driveway. That’s because we have invested in recycling, filtration, and other state-of-the-art technology since our earliest days.
In Chula Vista, we’re going to make our eco-friendly efforts more visible than ever with a meter displaying how many gallons of water we’re saving. Come through your new local car wash and help us keep that meter clicking! Together, we can make Chula Vista a water conservation example for all of California to follow.

National City is one of our busiest locations, so we’re looking forward to bringing some of you over to Chula Vista and making it a little easier for everyone to get in and out of the wash. As much as we love soaping your car up, we know you want to get on with your day and show off that new shine.
Grand Opening Event
Community leaders are going to help us cut the ribbon at Soapy Joe’s Chula Vista on Tuesday, July 11 and you’re invited! The ribbon cutting will take place at 3:00 p.m. After that, we’ll get to washing. The best part? Everyone gets a free wash!
