In San Diego, six women a day are diagnosed with breast cancer. Soapy Joe’s car wash is helping Susan G. Komen fund breakthrough breast cancer research, quality care and public awareness by serving as the Main Stage sponsor of the 2022 Komen San Diego More Than Pink Walk on Sunday, Nov. 6th in Balboa Park.
Kick-off More Than Pink Walk Fundraiser
Please join us Saturday, August 27th from 9-12pm at Soapy Joe’s Car Wash located on 10383 Friars Rd and support the help to fight breast cancer. Come dressed in ALL pink to show your support, purchase a car wash and we will donate 25% of the proceeds to Susan G. Komen.
Ongoing Partnership
We are proud to be in our fifth year sponsoring our local More Than Pink Walk event, one of many across the U.S. that have combined to contribute more than $2 billion to pursue Komen’s mission of ending breast cancer. It’s the perfect combination of supporting our community and participating in a national and global movement, simultaneously. Susan G. Komen San Diego specifically studies San Diego County to identify gaps in breast cancer care, barriers to health access and unmet needs.

More Than Pink Walk
The 2022 Komen San Diego More Than Pink Walk has already raised more than $100,000 dollars in fundraising toward Susan G. Komen’s goal of reducing the current number of breast cancer deaths by 50 percent in the U.S. by 2026. We hope you will join us in this 5K, or 1-mile walk through beautiful Balboa Park on the morning of Sunday, Nov. 6.
