This holiday season Soapy Joe’s car wash has partnered with 100.7 BIG-FM to collect canned food donations to help the San Diego Food Bank.
We are kicking off this Food Drive at Taste of December Nights on Friday, December 3rd to Sunday December 5th at Inspiration Point in Balboa Park. We will be collecting cans of food donations to help the San Diego Food Bank. Bring your items for an easy drop off while at Taste of December Nights and Soapy Joe’s will thank you with a FREE “Magic Joe” wash card. While supplies last.
The BIG-FM will be making special appearances on the first three Tuesdays in December at three Soapy Joe’s car wash locations. You can bring a canned food item and will receive a FREE Magic Joe Wash. Here are the specific locations and times the BIG-FM bus will be at:
- Tuesday, December 7th from 4:00 – 6:00 PM:

In addition, Soapy Joe’s will be collecting canned food donations on our sites Friday- Sunday from 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM from December 3rd through December 31st and receive a FREE Magic Joe Car Wash.
The San Diego Food Bank needs the following items: canned foods, peanut butter, rice, pasta beans, cereal, and oatmeal. Please no home-made goods, glass jars or alcohol.
