As the holidays wind down and we all exhale, many of us will find ourselves missing the season’s memories already. Soapy Joe’s had a wonderful holiday stretch giving back to the San Diego community with our annual Soapy Season of Cheer. Here are a few highlights:
Breaking and Entering Christmas
A dozen of our employees joined local radio personality, Tommy Sablan, and his team to place furniture, presents and decorations in the home of a family in need. The good deed was part of Sablan’s “Breaking and Entering Christmas” with 94.1. Learn more here.
Book Reading
Here’s our La Mesa manager, Bradley, reading to first graders at Pepper Drive Elementary School in Santee. Hey, and there’s Soapy Joe himself tagging along. We appreciate you both for giving these youngsters the gift of story time.
Gifts for Pets
Pets deserve Christmas presents, too. We partnered with the San Diego Humane Society to collect toys and food at our Rancho San Diego, National City, Chula Vista and San Marcos locations. All of these items are being delivered to the Humane Society for rescued animals to enjoy while they wait for their forever homes. Thank you to everyone who donated.
Employee Holiday Party
We could never forget about the people who keep our car washes humming with Good clean fun every day. We raffled goodies and presents at our employee appreciation holiday party, and gave out beanies and jackets to all of our team members. Enjoy the swag; it’s well-deserved!
