We’re partnering with STEP—Support the Enlisted Project—to help the military, veterans and their families facing financial crisis through counseling, education, and grants.
Since its inception in 2012, STEP has granted $1.8 million to military individuals and families with financial hardship due to the high cost of living in Southern California, insufficient compensation packages, and other challenges that military families face.
When you look at what this organization has accomplished so far, the numbers put the impact into perspective.
- 167 auto insurance payments made
- 393 auto repossessions stopped
- 160 critical auto repairs made
- 73 baby items provided
- 903 emergency meals provided
- 77 emergency travel trips paid
- 24 major appliances replaced
- 457 evictions or foreclosures prevented
- 427 utility disconnections halted
- 65 other emergencies solved
